Some story about this piece?
Well I edited and printed it while I was writing my last exams, and finished cutting it once I got a Job.
Now I still have a few months before starting working, and then I don't know how much free time I'll have to keep cutting stuff...
The dark wood is from a bench I restored last week, the white one is some pine wood laying around.
I built a frame and screwed the boards together. That is a new part of the process I didn't do often before; building your medium.
Exiting but the result ends up being a bit heavy.
Now for the paint...
As I was done cutting, I built my medium and had nothing left to do but paint, I realised I had no black paint anymore. And of course, it was saturday evening, and no shop were open in sunday. i had to wait until Monday to get some scrappy black spray paint from a store in my small city.
Anyway it was for the first layer, so it went ok anyway!
But then, the weather was too windy to start painting, so I had to wait again.
I was scared the eye would not be so much visible, but I guess it went ok too
I'm glad I'm done now!
I hope you like it!
